We are working with a fantastic modern business based in Hertford whom is looking for a Property and Rural Estates Administrator.
This role is assisting the Estates Manager in the management of a large portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial properties providing efficient and accurate administrative duties for the day-to-day management of the portfolio. 
The role will be 70% estates administration, and 30% office administration which will include administration for the accounts, operations, office management & reception teams.   
The successful applicant will need to be solution orientated and capable of working independently. 

Duties:
Estates
  1. To provide general administrative support to the Estates Manager.
  2. Assist the Estates Manager with potential tenant viewings.
  3. To act as the first point of contact for all Estates department enquiries.
  4. Take minutes at Estate Meetings.
  5. To report, record and administer routine maintenance and repairs to all properties.
  6. Manage assured contractor database obtaining necessary tickets and insurance cover documents.
  7. Keep and maintain reliable records and filing for each property/tenancy.
  8. Act as Tenant liaison.
  9. Maintaining insurance records and assisting with the annual renewal.
  10. Diary management and scheduling for the Estates Manager.
  11. Administrate staff accommodation, including end of tenancy cleaning, maintenance and furnishing.
  12. Drafting tenancy agreements.
  13. Organising marketing of vacant property.
    1. Producing Record of conditions for ingoing tenants and dilapidation schedules for outgoing tenants.
    2. Work with the Financial Controller to ensure monthly invoicing is undertaken.
    3. Manage and record compliance issues and schedules.
  14. Office Administration
    1. Cover the reception and phones when the Office Administrator is on lunch and annual leave.
    2. Assist the Financial Controller withday-to-day financial administrative tasks.
    3. General ad hoc projects and tasks.

  15. Skills and Experience required
  16. Excellent communication skills
    Good IT skills
    Ability to use initiative and work with limited supervision, highly organised.
  17. Exprieence in residential and commercial lettings (Desirable)
    Administrator experience
    Full driving licence
