Description
Staff Partners Business are currently working with a national industry professional association who are looking to hire a Careers Education Outreach and Engagement Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Building new relationships with partner organisations to grow the organisation’s Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance offerings in schools across the UK.
  • Targeted support for early careers, women, SEND and underrepresented groups within the industry.
  • Delivery of both in-person and virtual careers fairs, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Encouraging and supporting members of the organisation to become career advocates within the industry.
  • Creation, development, and repurposing of content for websites, newsletters, blogs, and social media.
  • Stakeholder management of school relationships.
  • Develop educational resources for both schools and use outside of educational settings.
  • Support the setup, running, and break down at events.
  • Be a key contact at events for competitors, their employers, and tutors.
  • Support the wider team at peak times including the Skills competition cycle and Student registration.
 
Key requirements:
  • Student sector/education experience
  • Online engagement and social media tool user, e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, web, etc.
  • I.T. literate (MS Office and social media tools)
  • Customer care & engagement skills
  • Membership/awarding body experience
 
Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 per annum.
Hours: 35 hours per week.
Overnight stay at events for approx. 5 weeks a year with a maximum of 5 consecutive nights.
