- Description
Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team , you will be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts department working alongside a bookkeeper.
Key responsibilities:
Managing and inputting all data relating to external costs and suppliers Preparing and managing all client invoices based on data shared by the client managers Tracking all costs against client projects Preparing all data on Xero for monthly management accounts, If you are a well-versed Bookkeeper and experienced in maintaining and managing all accounts as well as being an in-house expert on Xero,
- Monthly management accounts
- Monthly stock take, ensuring stock in transit is captured
- Cash flow summary including VAT position on a monthly basis
- Monthly overhead review v fixed costs
- Payroll changes
- Management charges
- Daily bookkeeping
- Payroll
- VAT returns
- CIS
- Credit control
- Statements from Xero
- Monthly management accounts
- Monthly reporting – KPIs, GP % review, budget v actual
- Stock take analysis
- Xero experience
- Up to date with latest tax rules
Experience
- Good Working Knowledge of Xero / Sage 50
- Ability to pick things up quickly.
- Confidence in the use of new systems
