Job Purpose:
The role of a Patient Services Coordinator is to be an active and dynamic member of a passionate, patient and customer focused team. Coordinators will manage the delivery process for patients medication in a call centre environment, which is 98% talking to patients or third parties on the telephone or in some instances via email. All deliveries are booked using their in-house systems and the role requires the ability to be able to multi-task between talking on the telephone while using various computer systems (for example Excel).
Communication
- Proactively communicate with patients to arrange deliveries and manage patients held stock
- Proactively communicate with referring customers to give feedback to customers’ specification and communicate issues with deliveries, patients stock or patient well being
- Field communication from patient and/or customers and either act upon enquiry or pass it on to the correct department to act on communication
- Field patient/customer communication via numerous mediums including, telephone, email, SMS text messaging
- Managing communication in a professional and empathetic manner always
- Inputs
- Receiving installation paperwork (referral forms, prescriptions, ancillary lists, etc) and processing them according to work instructions
- Receiving prescriptions and processing them in accordance with work instructions
- Obtaining stock requirements from patients and processing according to work instructions Carry out regular data checks with patients to ensure accuracy of information held
- Outputs
- Producing paperwork (delivery notes, collection notes etc) to ensure that deliveries and collections are performed correctly
- Processing paperwork to ensure that nursing is delivered correctly
- Recording
- Recording data as per work instructions in relevant systems
- Ensure accurate usage of telephony system in order to talk to patients and/or customers
- Ensuring all paperwork is filed correctly according to work instructions
To be successful in this position you will need to have excellent customer service skills, calm and professional telephone manner and a good level of excel.
Hours: Shift pattern
Full time - Mon – Friday - 8am – 4pm / 9am – 5pm / 10am – 6pm
Saturdays 9am – 5pm would need to work 1 in 4 Saturdays
Part time hours - Mon - Friday 6pm to 9pm
Temp for 13 weeks with the potential to go Perm with a starting salary of £19,000
