Description

Do you have previous experience working in finance for the NHS or for other healthcare providers?
Do you have experience managing end-to-end month end processes to tight deadlines?
Do you have experience of preparing and appraising capex requests?

 
The ideal candidate will need to be able to contribute to the company’s purpose to build a healthier nation by acting as a trusted partner and advisor to the Hospital Directors (HD) and manage the day-to-day Finance matters of the hospitals.
You will be responsible for the monthly management accounting, reporting, and forecasting cycles to ensure results are accurate and there are no surprises. Additionally, you will support the Hospital Directors on commercial matters such as capex business cases, pricing decisions, etc. The ideal applicate will support the wider Hospital team as the key point of contact for Finance matters.
This is an interim role needed until mid-October 2021 as the current Finance Manager has been promoted within the Business.

Essential experience:
-              ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualification
-              Experience of Managing end-to-end month end processes to tight deadlines
-              Experience of preparing and appraising capex requests
-              Experience of presenting information up to Senior Managers
-              Strong excel skills
-              Excellent communication and influencing skills
-              High level of commercial acumen and analytical skills
-              Relationship building, management abilities, and high EQ

Pay: £30.00 Per hour/ 37.5 Hours per week.
This is an office-based position, in a covid secure environment and does not offer remote working, please only apply if you are happy to be based within the office.
