Practice Nurse
GP Surgery –Hemel HempsteadAre you a passionate and experienced Practice Nurse looking to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery ? We are currently seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team.
About the Role:
As our Practice Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chronic disease management (e.g. asthma, diabetes, COPD)
- Immunisations and vaccinations (including travel vaccines)
- Cervical cytology (smears)
- Wound care and dressings
- Health promotion and lifestyle advice
- Supporting QOF and other clinical targets
What We’re Looking For:
- NMC-registered Practice Nurse with recent primary care experience
- Confident in managing long-term conditions and working independently
- Skilled in using clinical systems (e.g. EMIS Web or SYSTMONE– desirable but not essential)
- Compassionate, organised, and a strong team player
