Do you have a strong understanding of Medical Terminology?
Are you able to commit to 30 hours per week?
Do you have strong audio typing skills?
We are working with a lovely GP Practice based in Braford whom require a Medical Secretary to join their team.
Tasks:
- Audio typing letters
- Reports and other documents (so medical terminology training preferred)
- Minute taking of clerical meetings
- Dealing with patient queries/clinician queries regarding referrals and hospital letters
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail (this includes electronic and paper mail)
- Scanning patient documents
- Coding of hospital letters (summarising training will be given).
- Dealing with the pathology links i.e assigning it to the appropriate clinician.
- Actioning tasks assigned to the medical secretary team.
- Any other general duties given by the clinical or management team.
Hours: 1pm to 6pm Monday to Friday
