We are currently working with a local client who are looking to hire a Senior HR Advisor to join their HR team. This role is based in Letchworth, but the role will have you providing a HR service for a group that operates across London and Hertfordshire.
Key responsibilities:
· Handling Employee relations including leading performance and disciplinary meetings.
· Update and maintain company policies and procedures based on current and relevant legislation.
· Advise managers on any employee related matters, ensuring best practice is maintained but with a commercial and strategic focus, providing guidance and coaching where necessary to upskill managers and to provide support to all parties as required.
· Maintain logs of employee relations matters.
Carry out exit interviews, tracking feedback, and providing recommendations to the Head of People when necessary.
· Support change management and organisational development projects.
· Take part in training needs analysis to identify any opportunities or requirements for training.
· Deliver workshops on HR topics and initiatives to employees and management.
· Develop and facilitate in-house training.
Key requirements:
Minimum CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
· Previous HR generalist experience
· Current knowledge of employment legislation
· Commitment to personal professional development and learning
Hours: Full-time or Part-time hours considered (minimum 4 days a week)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
