They are a market leader in designing and selling a range of children’s arts & crafts products and toys. They sell their own branded merchandise on their websites globally.
Role Overview:
The Successful candidate will need a minimum of 4-5 years expert level PPC experience, with proven experience of devising, developing and implementing paid Search and Shopping strategies with Google Ads Certification in at least one of the Search, Display, Video, Shopping Ads.
The PPC Specialist will own all paid online media activity across paid search and shopping. This is a ‘hands on’ role requiring a driven and highly knowledgeable individual to plan, implement and optimise campaigns including SQRs, scripts & automation, improving ads & extensions, monitoring performance and general maintenance.
Job Purpose:
To support the Digital Acquisition Manager in developing the Paid Search and Shopping strategy for key markets. Executing the Paid Search and Shopping strategy in the UK market to meet set KPI targets for growth and profitability.
Core responsibilities:

A) PPC – Search, Shopping
  • Own the Paid Search and Shopping strategy
  • Understand our customer journey and provide actionable recommendations for Search and Shopping.
  • Develop, plan and implement Paid Search and Shopping campaigns that encompass all steps of the marketing funnel
  • Be responsible for the PPC budget, measuring spend and revenue growth YoY
  • Report daily, weekly and monthly stats on all Paid Search and Shopping activity to key internal stakeholders along with a clear strategy
  • Deliver traffic to achieve overall KPI targets including sessions, transactions, CPA and ROAS
  • Liaise with the wider marketing team to ensure that the latest promotional offers and product launches are visible across paid channels
  • Ensure that all product feeds show all current products and that they are optimised to improve CTR and reduce bounce rate
  • Work closely with the international team to provide support and ongoing training where necessary
  • Monitor the latest marketing trends to ensure maximum visibility and that all opportunities are explored
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 
  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience working with Google Ads and Bing across Search and Shopping campaigns
  • Proven experience driving growth in an ecommerce environment
  • Proven experience managing monthly budgets exceeding £20,000
  • Previous agency experience preferred
  • Experience in implementing and managing scripts and Automation in Google Ads
  • Experience in bid management tools such as Marin or Kenshoo
  • Ability to identify and create new revenue and session opportunities 
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Shopping, Google Adwords and Bing Ads
  • Experience managing Remarketing, GDN, Gmail, Discovery and Youtube Ads are an advantage
  • Deliver on objectives and goals while keeping to specified budget and targets
  • Google Ads Certification in at least one of the Search, Display, Video, Shopping Ads.
  • A degree in marketing, mathematics or similar is not necessary but is an advantage
Hours:  Monday to Friday 8.15am to 4.45pm
Salary:  Up to £35k – please state salary expectation on application.
