Staff Partners Business are currently working with a Private Hospital based in Hertfordshire that require a new HR Manager.
This is a stand alone role for a small network of 7 care homes and hospitals that specialise in different mental health services. There will be external HR Support as well as an internal recruitment and administrative team.
There are 3 main focuses of this position:
Recruitment – They do have a dedicated recruitment consultant on site, but the successful applicant will over see the function of recruitment and bring new ideas to the table and take on projects.
Retention – Someone who can bring in ideas to retain staff and make them happy! This will require working with management, incentives, and much more.
Employee relations – This client does have an outsourced HR consultant, the idea is to have someone that can get to a point of being able to support all HR functions on site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the company’s in-house agency to support the strategic goals of the business.
• Leading the end-to-end recruitment process to all sites by ensuring we are attracting the right people. (We love out of the box ideas that attract the best staff.)
• Accountable for recruitment costs and monitoring ROI on various recruitment platforms.
• Working with managers to drive staff retention initiatives.
• Employee relation matters and supporting managers to resolve conflict, manage performance and develop talent at the local level.
• Ensuring company policy and procedure around disciplinary and grievance are followed.
• Overseeing all other policies affecting the business from the workforce’s point of view to ensure statutory compliance.
• Devise and agree on workforce related key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide reports/analysis to the board of directors and site managers.
• Gather business and competition insight within the healthcare sector in general.
Must haves:
Must be either qualified to an undergraduate level or be qualified by experience.
This is a full time position:
Monday to Friday
9:00am - 5:30pm (40 hours per week)
Successful candidate must have access to own vehicle due to commuting between different sites
Due to working within care homes, those who apply MUST be vaccinated against COVID-19.
