Practice Manager – Knightsbridge, London

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per annum
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Practice Manager to join a well-established healthcare practice in Knightsbridge, London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager who is confident overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy practice, managing staff and ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
  • Manage, support and motivate the practice administration and reception teams
  • Manage staff rotas, annual leave, recruitment and performance
  • Support staff training, development and appraisals
  • Ensure practice policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
  • Monitor compliance, health & safety and risk management
  • Assist with financial and budget management
  • Manage patient concerns and complaints appropriately
  • Work closely with GPs, clinicians and the wider practice team
  • Support clinical governance and quality improvement
  • Ensure confidentiality, GDPR and data protection requirements are maintained
  • Identify opportunities to improve practice processes and patient services

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous Practice Manager experience within a GP/primary care setting
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience managing a multidisciplinary practice team
  • Good understanding of healthcare compliance and governance
  • Experience with HR, recruitment and staff development
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A professional, proactive and patient-focused approach
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment

Experience with SystmOne, EMIS or other GP clinical systems is essential.
